The Japanese distillery was created with an appreciation for the traditions of the Samurai. Overtime people realized that the water from the Japanese mountains was so pure and crystalline that in combination with a methodical, traditional and high quality process, they could obtain a whisky that could pay homage to the tradition of seeking perfection, so engrained in samurai culture.

The Japanese Single Grain Distillery was founded with a deep respect for the essence of the Samurai traditions. Over time, enthusiasts discovered that the water sourced from the majestic Single Grain mountains possessed an unparalleled purity and clarity. PURE MALT
The Japanese Pure Malt Distillery emerged as a tribute to the venerable traditions of the Samurai.
